Two hundred and twenty-nine days ago, Kristin Cavallari commenced work on her debut memoir Balancing in Heels, a book she says will cover “really just everything in my life.” Throughout the writing process, Kristin’s found time to work on her shoe line, for which there will be a party in New York next week.

In 2010, Kristin joined the fight to aid underprivileged children around the globe, serving as an ambassador of the children’s charity One Kid One World. Cavallari traveled to El Salvador where she dedicated personal time towards rebuilding schools in local communities. Continuing her humanitarian efforts, Kristin made her way to Kenya in early 2011 for yet another extraordinary and successful project with One Kid One World.

In early 2011, Kristin combined her passion for fashion and love for charity on a new passion project. She teamed up with Shoe Dazzle to design a spring shoe with proceeds benefiting One Kid One World. Her new spring shoe, named Bardot, became available for the first time in the spring of 2011.

Cavallari joined the season 13 cast of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. With her strong wit, charm and loveable charisma, Kristin competed against the likes of David Arquette, Chaz Bono and Nancy Grace for the DWTS Season 13 trophy. The bombshell reality star received a standing ovation for her Samba performance with partner Mark Ballas, before she was undeservingly voted off the hit show in week 3.

In August 2012, Kristin and husband, Chicago Bears Quarterback Jay Cutler, welcomed their first child together, son Camden Jack. In continuing to grow her fashion empire, Kristin has created a new jewelry line, Emerald Duv, which launched October 2nd at Planet Blue in Beverly Hills. The new line incorporates her love of the trendy boho look and embodies an everyday LA chic style. This collection of jewelry allows every girl to obtain her famous California-cool vibe.

What would Donald Trump be like as president? Probably a lot like what he’s like as a father—creepy, controlling and inappropriate as hell. OMG DAD GET OUT OF MY ROOM, the country will probably scream—to no avail. ‘Cause he likes what he sees and he’s not done looking.

But Trump’s wildly uncomfortable sexual analysis isn’t just limited to his biological offspring; turns out he’s spent years commenting on who he thinks is hot and who he thinks is not. They say it takes one to know one, but clearly they never met Donald Trump.

Donald Trump’s “Hot List”

1. His Daughter

Here’s the gist of Donald Trump on his very sexy daughter, Ivanka Trump: he thinks she’s sexy as hell.

And he’s not shy about it. Way back in 2003, he publicly heaped praise on his hot daughter’s body.

“You know who’s one of the great beauties of the world, according to everybody? And I helped create her. Ivanka. My daughter, Ivanka. She’s 6 feet tall, she’s got the best body. She made a lot money as a model—a tremendous amount.”

Then in 2006, he admitted he would totally date her if she weren’t his daughter.

“[Ivanka posing for Playboy] would be really disappointing — not really — but it would depend on what’s inside the magazine. I don’t think Ivanka would do that, although she does have a very nice figure. I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”

He continued flirting in 2014, when @redskinsgirl23 tweeted at him: “ @realDonaldTrump @Macys Not more beautiful than @IvankaTrump! She is just soooooo beautiful!” His response?

I happen to agree!

No shit. And, just last week—in the middle of a presidential campaign—he doubled down, lamenting the fact that his wedding ring means he and his hot daughter will probably never be together.

At 69, he can still carry on like the teen who was yanked out of prep school and delivered to Col. Dobias, the take-no-shit instructor at the military academy. After I met Ivanka and praised her to her father, he said, “Yeah, she’s really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren’t happily married and, ya know, her father . . . ”

It’s unclear if he finished the sentence or if the author’s projectile vomiting drowned him out—oh sorry, that was me. I vomited.

2. Kathleen Sebelius

Here’s another lady Donald Trump approves of: former Secretary of Health Kathleen Sebelius, who has a set of “beautiful blue eyes” he would apparently like to see crying.

3. Katherine Webb

Trump is very into this lady.

You wouldn’t believe how tall and beautiful @_KatherineWebb is- 6’5” in heels. She is also a total winner in every respect.

A “total winner in every respect,” except if you’re talking about Trump’s 2012 Miss USA pageant, which she lost.

4. Beauty Pageant Contestants

Also looking good to Trump that year? All the other models.

I know what you’re thinking: Maybe he’s more than just a perv—maybe he’s talking about their talent. Nope!

Nobody cares about the talent. There’s only one talent you care about, and that’s the look talent. You don’t give a shit if a girl can play a violin like the greatest violinist in the world. You want to know what does she look like.

5. Miley Cyrus

Well that’s not totally true—he admires Miley Cyrus’s talent, at least when she does her talent in hot pants with a much older man. Sayeth Trump of the performance that left most feeling slightly dirty just for watching:

6. His Good Friend’s Youngest Daughter, Paris Hilton

He also loves admiring the bodies of his friends’ children. For example, Paris Hilton, who, according to Trump, started turning Trump on when she was around 25 years old.

“I’ve known Paris Hilton from the time she’s 12. Her parents are friends of mine, and, you know, the first time I saw her, she walked into the room and I said, ‘Who the hell is that?’ … Well, at 12, I wasn’t interested. I’ve never been into that. They’re sort of always stuck around that 25 category.”

Surely, you’re thinking, there must be at least one women out there who doesn’t give Donald Trump an instant boner?

7. Princess Diana

There are several, as it turns out, but Princess Di—who said Trump “gave her the creeps”—wasn’t one of them. In 1992, he reportedly pursued Diana, calling her “the ultimate trophy wife.” Could it be said her violent, fatal car crash was the more humane outcome? Indeed, it could be said.

8. Marla Maples

Surprise surprise, Trump, at one time, thought his mistress-cum-second-ex-wife, Marla Maples, was hot. Physically speaking.

He once said to him about Ms. Maples: “God, I wish you could see her body! . . . If you could take one look at it, just one look, you wouldn’t believe it. It’s unbelievable. Better than a ten.”

Not enough to keep her around, though—he divorced her in 2001.

9. An Unnamed Half-Black Supermodel

In case you were thinking Donald Trump is all about appearances...you’re right. The story, via Page Six:

Victoria Zdrok, a Ukrainian beauty who posed for Playboy and Penthouse magazines, claims she went on four dates with Trump and told journalist Chaunce Hayden, “He [Trump] would always talk about this one girl, a supermodel, and how he would give her the best orgasms of her life.”

“He told me he really likes this girl but he would never go out with her because he found out she was half-black,” said Zdrok, according to a transcript in the August issue of Metropolis Nights magazine, “He needed somebody more mainstream.”

Donald Trump’s “Not” List:

1. Bette Midler

But Trump—who we can be sure knows a sexy lady when he sires one, doesn’t see the skin-level beauty in everyone. Here he is ripping apart the very UNSEXY Bette Midler:

In 2012 he helpfully identified what in particular killed his boner—it’s her “ugly face and body.”

Arianna Huffington is “a dog.”

And that’s not all! You know who else Donald Trump has publicly discussed not wanting to fuck?

3. Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie, who is sooo overrated if you ask Donald Trump, though he’ll probably tell you even if you don’t.

Angelina Jolie is sort of amazing because everyone thinks she’s like this great beauty. And I’m not saying she’s an unattractive woman, but she’s not a beauty, by any stretch of the imagination. I really understand beauty.

4. Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker, who Donald says is the “unsexiest woman alive.”

Sarah Jessica Parker voted “unsexiest woman alive” – I agree. She said “it’s beneath me to comment on the potential Obama charitable gift.” What’s really beneath her?

I’ll tell you what’s definitely not beneath her—Donald Trump’s naked body, and thank god for that.

5. Rosie O’Donnell

Also Donald Trump doesn’t fuck with Rosie O’Donnell.

Sorry, @Rosie is a mentally sick woman, a bully, a dummy and, above all, a loser. Other than that she is just wonderful!

But he doesn’t just hate her for her body—he hates her for her mind too.

“If I were running ‘The View,’ I’d fire Rosie [O’Donnell]. I mean, I’d look her right in that fat, ugly face of hers, I’d say, ‘Rosie, you’re fired.’”

Bobby Jindal and whatever remaining social media-literate staff he has left have spent the last 24 hours doing their best impression of a Trump smear campaign, calling the time-displaced Sopranos extra “not serious,” “a narcissist, “an egomaniac,” “a carnival act,” “a very weak and small person,” and “dangerous.” All of which are both true and perhaps some of the most honest, biting, and uninhibited criticism of Trump to come from a GOP candidate yet—from a proud anti-gay exorcist, no less.

Jindal gave a speech, which you can read in full here, that actually touches on a lot of very real concerns should Trump, who was last seen polling upwards of 30%, actually become the Republican candidate.

Donald Trump is not a serious candidate. He’s a narcissist, he’s an egomaniac. The only thing he believes in is himself. Everybody knows this is true...

It’s silly to argue policy with this guy, he’s doesn’t know anything about it, he has no idea what he is talking about, he makes it all up on the fly. According to him his health care plan will be “fabulous” and his tax plan will be “really, really terrific.” He’s shallow, no substance.

But the real show was on Twitter, where Jindal managed to get in some decent jabs.

This is not to say that Louisiana’s widely loathed governor didn’t get through this without looking like an idiot himself. In the process of burning Trump, he manages to imply that his own campaign is itself a huge scam.

Yes, only a fool would write Bobby Jindal a check. On this, both sides surely agree.

Jindal has also attacked Trump through supercuts (could a “What If Wes Anderson Directed the Trump Campaign” viral video be next?), though his staff’s efforts don’t really offer much of a cohesive message besides “remember when Charlie Sheen was in the news”:

But even if all of Jindal’s attempted hits managed to land, would they have accomplished anything? Probably not. Jindal’s polling at one percent right now, and a few hundred favs are unlikely to change that. Going hard against Trump certainly didn’t do much for Rick Perry, who similarly went on the offensive and still barely managed to break one percent in CNN’s polls.

If nothing else, Jindal, who has perhaps the most detestable beliefs of the entire GOP lineup, at least got to play the “reasonable” and “sane” candidate for a few hours—which is both a testament to Donald Trump’s own absurdity, and the admirable acting abilities of the man who gave us this.

After, let’s say, weeks of campaigning, Texas politician Rick Perry (sp?) has apparently dropped out of the race for the Republican presidential nomination. Few people remember, but this comes almost four years after another “Rick Perry” — a fellow Texan, no less — also dropped out of the race for the Republican nomination. Coincidence?

Perry ran out of money this month, leaving political observers stunned at the news that, at some point, people had donated money to Rick Perry.

When Louisiana state officials announced their plans to terminate Planned Parenthood’s state Medicaid contract in late August, they argued that there were plenty of doctors who could take on the more than 5200 patients the reproductive health organization sees each year in New Orleans and Baton Rouge.

They even provided a list of those doctors to the US District Court when Planned Parenthood filed suit against the state (Planned Parenthood argues that breaking the contract is a violation of federal law). It’s an impressive 37 pages long, including 1146 Medicaid providers near New Orleans and 864 near Baton Rouge.

But actually reading their list reveals that very few of those doctors are qualified to give pelvic exams, provide contraceptives, or administer screenings for STDs or breast and cervical cancer. The list is actually of every provider who takes Medicaid in the region—including dentists, along with anesthesiologists, eye doctors, radiologists, cardiologists, pharmacies, and nursing homes.

The Hon. John W. DeGravelles, who will decide whether it is legal for the state to break their contract with Planned Parenthood, was not amused. From the court transcript of September 2, 2015:

The Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals submitted a revised list of providers on September 8. This list is much shorter. It includes just 29 providers, 24 of which provide the same range of services as Planned Parenthood. Only five providers are in Baton Rouge; two have three-week waits for new patients, and one is not accepting new patients.

DeGravelles is expected to rule on the case September 15th.

In a statement Friday, Subway said that it had received a “serious” complaint about company spokesman Jared Fogle, who agreed last month to plead guilty to allegations that he paid for sex with underage girls and had received child pornography, but that the complaint did not imply criminal sexual activity.

According to the Associated Press, in the statement Subway said that it reviewed more than a million online comments and interviews with past and present employees in the course of an internal investigation.

Subway spokeswoman Kristen McMahon confirmed that the company had received a “serious” complaint in 2011 from former journalist Rochelle Herman-Walrond. In July, Herman-Walrond told ABC affiliate WWSB that she approached the FBI after Fogle repeatedly told her “middle school girls are hot.”

The complaint “expressed concerns about Mr. Fogle,” McMahon told the AP, but included “nothing that implied anything about sexual behavior or criminal activity involving Mr. Fogle.” She declined the elaborate upon the nature of the complaint.

Subway regrets the complaint was “not properly escalated or acted upon,” the statement said. “It is important to note that the investigation found no further evidence of any other complaints of any kind regarding Mr. Fogle that were submitted to or shared with SUBWAY.”

Former Subway franchisee Cindy Mills said she alerted the company to Fogle’s criminal sexual conduct in 2008. Subway denies having any record of Mills’ complaint.

At least 82 people were killed after a large explosion caused the collapse of several buildings in central India on Saturday, the New York Times reports. It is unclear what caused the explosion.

A police official, A. R. Khan, told the Times that the explosion, in the town of Petlawad, in the state of Madhya Pradesh, occurred in a shop carrying explosives. Local news reports cited a gas cylinder at a nearby restaurant—an account which Khan disputed.

A medical official, Dr. Urmila Choyal, said that at least 82 people had been killed—mostly men having breakfast at the restaurant—and 150 people had been injured. According to the Indian Express, the dead included at least eight restaurant employees.

The Express reported that explosives being stored in a house being rented adjacent to the restaurant had gone off, killing most of its inhabitants.

A local police official, Seema Alawa, said it was too early to say what had happened: “We are still rescuing the people from the debris.”

Once upon a time, Jessica Simpson was married to Nick Lachey. The two had a reality show where Simpson said silly things and Lachey rolled his eyes a lot. Now they’re divorced, married to other people, and Simpson has made herself very rich by selling shoes and clothes. Since Simpson is a successful business woman, she appears on shows like CNBC’s Closing Bell. On Thursday’s Closing Bell, host Kelly Evans interviewed Simpson about her fashion brand, and the singer/actress admitted that she had inevitably made financial mistakes while managing the company.

When Evans asked her about her biggest financial mistake, Simpson replied “The biggest money mistakes? I don’t know. For some reason, I thought of my first marriage.” “That’s actually a common answer, believe it or not,” Evans responded.

I kind of like this “Jessica Simpson is completely honest about her first marriage” brand that she seems to have cultivated over the last week. [CNN]

Melissa Joan Hart is very upset by the media’s 9/11 coverage. “If kardashians can be covered 24/7, why can’t we have one day dedicated to a moment in history that changed our path?” Hart tweeted. “I don’t need to see tragedy, I need to see stories of healing & memory! #neverforget.” Apparently the deaths of thousands of people were getting in the way of Hart’s need for positive, uplifting stories. Best then to ask a series of non sequiturs and make sure that 9/11 is centered on your own personal need for heroic narratives. On Friday, a small plane carrying members of the crew of a Tom Cruise movie ran into bad weather while flying from the town of Santa Fe de Antioquia to Medellin and crashed in the Colombian Andes. Two people were killed and one was seriously injured, the Associated Press reports.

An aviation official said that Los Angeles-based film pilot Alan Purwin was killed, along with Carlos Berl, a Colombian. According to the AP, the third person on board, Jimmy Lee Garland, another pilot, from Georgia, was taken to a hospital in Medellin. Cruise was not aboard the aircraft.

Cruise arrived in Medellin last month, the AP reports, to film Mena, a movie about American pilot and drug runner Barry Seal—shot and killed in Louisiana in 1986, allegedly by assassins sent by Pablo Escobar—recruited by the CIA to try to take down the late cocaine kingpin.

The Universal Pictures movie has been filming since late August, Variety reports. “An aircraft carrying crew members crashed while returning to Enrique Olaya Herrera Airport in Medellin following production wrap on the film ‘Mena’ resulting in two fatalities,” Universal said in a statement.

“Further details are not available at this time. On behalf of the production, our hearts and prayers go out to the crew members and their families at this difficult time.”

Last year, in addition to the national cash rebates offered to filmmakers spending at least $600,000 in Colombia, Medellin began offering cash rebates of up to 15%. Variety reports that Mena is the first international production to avail itself of these incentives.

While you were grilling up some hot dogs or watching baseball on Labor Day, players on the Camden County (Ga.) High School football team were beating the crap out of a JV teammate at practice while at least three coaches watched, according to a police report filed by the boy on the receiving end of the beating.

The JV player’s offense? Wearing the wrong color t-shirt and sitting on the wrong side of the stadium at a game the Friday before. Via WJXT:

The player told police his teammates were upset with him because the previous Friday at the Camden County vs. Glynn Academy football game he wore a black shirt and sat with his girlfriend, a Glynn Academy cheerleader, on the Glynn Academy side of the field. He had been told to wear a white shirt to the game.

The player told police that two coaches saw him wearing the wrong color shirt and told his teammates that “they need to handle their boy for wearing black.”

The video of the assault in the news report above is from Snapchat, and was sent to WJXT by a “concerned” parent. According to the Kingsland Police Department, at least one coach can be seen in it. But despite the JV player’s claim that coaches instigated the beating and video of one of them watching it, the school district found no wrongdoing on their part.

The superintendent of the school board did say four students who “harassed one of their classmates and fellow football players” had “received consequences,” but didn’t specify what those consequences were.

The local police have asked the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to get involved, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, where they will examine “everyone involved” in the incident.

“I don’t think he deserves to have a badge,” former tennis star James Blake said of the New York City cop who wrongly tackled and handcuffed him on Monday. “I hope he can never do that again under the shield of the New York Police Department.”

The plainclothes officer, James Frascatore, was placed on desk duty after mistaking Blake for a credit card fraud suspect. “I know they put him on modified assignment, which is a good first step, but I do think there needs to be more actions taken,” Blake said in a sit-down interview with reporters on Saturday.

Frascatore was the subject of a WNYC investigation last year that revealed an extensive history of civilian complaints filed against him. During one seven month period, five complaints were filed against Frascatore—more compaints than 90 percent of active officers receive in their entire careers, WNYC reported.

“It’s not his first brush with a civilian complaint. I don’t think this is his first time doing this. I don’t think this is one error in judgment. I think it’s a pattern and it needs to be corrected,” Blake said on Saturday. “I hope he can never do that to anyone else and get away with it.

Blake was born in Yonkers and raised in Connecticut. He says he has the “utmost respect” for the NYPD: “I would say 95 percent or greater are doing their job correctly, and doing things the right way and I applaud them. I think they should be considered heroes. But I don’t think the person who did this to me belongs in the same sentence as them. I don’t think he deserves to be on the force.”

Earlier this week, Mayor Bill de Blasio and Commissioner Bill Bratton apologized to Blake on behalf of the NYPD, a gesture which, in a statement on Friday, Blake said he appreciated. “But extending courtesy to a public figure mistreated by the police is not enough,” the statement read.

(The Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association defended Frascatore’s actions in a statement that said the arrest “under fluid circumstances where the subject might have fled, and the officer did a professional job of bringing the individual to the ground.”)

“I’m sure this isn’t the first time police brutality has happened and I’m sure it’s not the last time,” Blake said Saturday. “So I want them to apologize to the people that this happens to that don’t have the same voice that I have.”

In a Facebook post published last week, Sascha Pangallo said that “psychotic/mentally unstable [Uber] driver” pulled her out of the car and ran her over, “possibly” breaking her leg and leaving a blood clot.

The 24-year-old from Queensland, Australia said in the post she that ordered a car from the ride service on Friday night after work “as I do on the daily.” From there, the ride turned into an absolute nightmare. Pangallo wrote:

“After refusing to put my destination into his GPS he requested my directing (which I had no problem with) however I was on an important phone call and during one of the directions he snapped and screamed at me in a very aggressive manner. He then pulled the car over continued to scream “get out of my car” multiple times whilst getting very physical, grabbing me and trying to drag me out of the car. He soon realised that there were 4 on lookers witnessing the whole thing and yelling that they were calling the police - he then panicked and ran back around to the driver side door, jumped in to his 4WD - and hit the accelerator like an absolute maniac. My door was still open as I was frantically trying to grab my bags out of the car and before I could get away I was thrown to the ground and my leg was being run over.”

Unsurprisingly, Pangallo vowed to never use the service again. Uber said that they were assisting law enforcement in the area.

“We have a strict policy to deactivate any partner that exhibits aggressive or abusive behaviour and we have removed this driver from our platform,” a Uber spokesman told the Daily Mail Australia. “Safety is our top priority and we will work with the authorities on their investigation,” the company added. “Our thoughts are with the injured woman and we wish her a full and speedy recovery.”

Uber’s words sound a bit hollow given the volume of troublesome incidents that have plagued the company—including incidents of drivers harassing and even raping their female passengers. In March, the company updated its safety protocols and highlighted their extensive background check of potential drivers. The Daily Mail, however, notes that the driver who allegedly attacked Pangallo was licenced, “which means that [Queensland] completed a criminal background.”

In a stunning victory, the far left “Old Labour” (contra the “New Labour” of Tony Blair and Gordon Brown) candidate Jeremy Corbyn has been elected leader of the United Kingdom’s Labour Party.

Corbyn won nearly 59.5% of first-preference votes, the Guardian reports, dwarfing his nearest rivals Andy Burnham at 19% and Yvette Cooper at 17%.

The British people are “fed up with the injustice and the inequality,” Corbyn said. “The media and many of us, simply didn’t understand the views of young people in our country. They were turned off by the way politics was being conducted. We have to and must change that. The fightback gathers speed and gathers pace.”

Much of the opposition party establishment has expressed ambivalence or outright disdain for Corbyn’s more radical positions—according to the New York Times, he has proposed nationalizing British energy and rail companies—generally coded in concern that if the party moves further to the left it will be unelectable in the general election. Several senior party officials have gone so far as to say they will not serve in his shadow cabinet.

Teen sensation and former Labour leader Ed Miliband congratulated Corbyn on his win: “Jeremy has won a very clear victory. I hope also... that Jeremy reaches out to all parts of the party, because he has a big job to do to seek to unite the party and I believe he does intend to do that, and I hope he does.”

Corbyn, a lawmaker of 30 years, has never held government office, the Associated Press reports. He ran on a platform of higher corporate taxes and greater wealth redistribution. Tony Blair, who led Labour to three consecutive victories in the general election, warned that the party faced “annihilation” under its new leader.

Meanwhile, at one of his first public appearances since the vote, Corbyn stood on stage at a pro-migrant rally in London and sang socialist anthem “The Red Flag” with Billy Bragg:

Three inmates were killed and five injured when rioting broke out on Saturday at Cimarron Correctional Facility in Cushing, Oklahoma, the New York Times reports. “The disturbance was inmate-on-inmate,” a spokesman said. “No lethal force was used by staff.”

Cimarron is owned and operated by Corrections Corporation of America. A spokesman for the private company, Steve Owen, told the Times that prison guards “quelled an inmate disturbance” just after 4:30 pm on Saturday. No prison staff were injured.

This is the second such disturbance at Cimarron in recent months. The prison was locked down for several weeks after 11 inmates were sent to the hospital following a fight in June, Oklahoma Department of Corrections spokesman Alex Gerszewski said.

“It was an altercation between inmates at that facility,” Gerszewski said. “It is currently under investigation.” According to NBC News, between 200 and 300 inmates were involved in the altercation.

Cimarron is still on lockdown after Saturday’s deadly brawl, KOCO reports. Officials said that one guard, who was inside the housing pod where the fight took place, is getting counseling.
